In 1954, Véronique Michel-Dalès created a small educational game company in France called Djeco, which at the time, very few women did. The business was put to bed as her son Frédéric grew up. In 1989 Frédéric decided to wake up the company and he set up his offices in the former warehouse. In the beginning, he imported toys that didn't exist in France. He then then began to dream of toys that were not on the market at all, and so, he created them! Now Djeco is a huge success and stocked in toy stores all over the world!
